Knife for girlfriend / wife??

Get her a CRKT turtle knife. They are tiny, come in different colors, and don't look quite like the standard knife. Maybe it will give her a different point of view on knives.

Honestly, just wait and give it time. Don't pressure her because it just may back fire on you. Just keep buying for your self and sharing what you bought or what you like and want, before you know it she will start to learn the brand names, what's good and what isn't. Then shortly after that she may start to buy you some as gifts and then eventually some day as you two are walking through a gun and/or knife show she will say "You know, I think I might want a cute small one for myself" and that's the day you will shop together for her first of many knives.

I got two enduras, one purple plain edge and one gray part serrated. I swapped the scales so each one has a purple and gray side (half gray, half purple) she loved it ;)

She said she didn't want a knife and I'll just about bet you she doesn't. I know you want her to enjoy your hobby with you but save yourself the grief. Get shoes or jewelry.

I bought my wife a SAK climber for camping. She was quite happy about it and mainly uses the scissors and can-opener.

I might suggest Kershaw Half-Ton. It's not pretty, I know. But it would do everything she could possibly want it for. If not maybe the Kershaw OD-2. It is tiny so she would probably like it.

P.S. - I know it is past Christmas but she might want more.

The warden will only wear an SOG Fusion dagger on a pistol belt when we are mushroom picking, because she doesn't like the weight of my better FB's. She almost went for a Becker Eskabar, but really has little interest. She will still let me wear her undies and use her make up though, so it's all good. :D

If you insist on getting her a knife, id get her the little vic classic in alox. Get the pink or blue one. When you get it for her, put it with that brand new purse you got her:P

Why does this topic remind me of the Simpsons episode where Homer buys Marge a bowling ball complete with the engraving "Homer" on it? If she says she does not want a knife, she don't want it. It will collect dust in a drawer. Is it just so you can say "I have a cool GF that packs"? Trust me and I speak from experience. She does not want a blade anymore than you want a purse. With out a knife in it. Save your d'oh!

I'd say take the little lady to several knife stores and let he try them all. Then take her to the next gun and knife show and let her try some more. My wife went through a dozen knifes that didn't work out, thanks to me, but she settled on a Benchmade (D2) with an axis lock. I just let her know the pros and cons as she looked. I keep that one sharp for her.... but don't check the kitchen knives, LOL.
