Hey guys, I've been trying to find a knife that won't fall out of my pocket while jumping, flipping, etc. Maybe a carabiner knife or some system or innovation on a knife any of you have found that will make it so I don't have to worry about my knife falling out of my pocket during Parkour. Any suggestions? Tell me

A fixed blade with a sheath that includes a strap to lock it in?

Will you be using a knife in parkour?

I find myself liking no to have a knife to n me while I'm doing parkour for the same reason I have one when I'm not. Things just happen where I need to use one. Though I'm looking for lighter weight as opposed to a fixed blade. Thanks!

Buck Redpoint with a retractable tether on it as a safety. The knife locks closed, so it won't fly open on you even if it frees itself from the pocket. A folder in a belt sheath might work, too.

What weight are you looking for, so we know?

I would recommend a cold steel folder. I love my 2015 american lawman. The clips are strong so you wont drop it out of your pocket and the blade wont open by itself. Also its just a really good knife. Light weight too.

I trail run and disc golf with a Benchmade 530, very light so it does not bounce around. For running it is clipped inside my waistband.

Yeah I've never really looked too much at cold steel. I'll have to check them out thanks!

I'd do a small fixed. Daniel Fairly (subforum here http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php/873-Daniel-Fairly-Knives) makes an ultra lightweight titanium backpacker, with a nice small kydex sheath you could strap down pretty well.

Look at Cold Steel; strong clip, rough G10, and the triad lock holds the blade closed very well.

He didn't recommend a weight though!

A small fixed blade in a tight fitting pocket sheath is my recommendation.

Swartz tactical, carbon fiber and titanium laminate knives.

But really, why mix athletics and a sharp instrument? It defies logic, unless you are a real ninja!
