Knife For Rambo 4

Who Would You Like To Make It?

Are there rumors of a Rambo 4? I think he should go the other direction. No big killer combat knife. Maybe a Buck 110, (with a bg42 blade from the custom shop) Perhaps a nice Vic. swiss champ xlt. Maybe a nice Bulldog 4 blade congress.

I think there is potential for another Rambo movie. He is back at home in the U.S.A. just trying to disappear into society. He has made peace with his demons. Rambo has changed his name. He no longer looks like a tough guy. He wears dickies and sneakers. Maybe has a little bit of a gut. He has cut his hair and he is working at some crappy low wage factory job. He get's along with his boss and he even has a woman. He has friends who know nothing of his past and he is thankful that he can now finally live a normal life. The weight of his experiences in Vietnam and after have finally been lifted off his shoulders. Then he forced into using his skills because he falls into the middle of a terrorist plot. He tries to get the proper authorities involved but they brush him off. They ignore the threat. Finally Rambo is forced to act. He foils the plot but is killed in the process. And just to show he has turned a new page in his life, Rambo's Buck 110 is a David Yellowhorse custom. Given to him as a gift by his woman.

Cliches to avoid

No suiting up for battle scene.

No elaborate high tech weapons.

No mastery of divergent technologies like being able to both drive a tank and fly a helicopter.

Rambo does NOT know how to disarm a nuclear weapon.

No black BDU's

One of Dwaine Carrillo's Airkat Apaches. With the leather survival rig and the saw back, it really looks like a modern day Rambo knife.

Randall of course

Word. Fun fact, one of the Randall Bowies was to be the very first Rambo Knife, but was changed to the Lile just before filming.

I like to see the Randall return.

It's way past the rumor stage. Projected release date is summer 2006. The plot is said to revolve around Rambo being reactivated as a sort of field aid for a troop of young cockstrong jungle warriors. When the mission goes to hell because their billion dollar digital war machinery blacks out, the old guy saves the day with his tried and true lowtech approach (see Rambo 1).

Ahhh...but could he "covertly de-animate" the terrorists??? ;o)

Yeah! How come nobody wants to see Dark Ops do the blade design?

Of course, that might blow the special effects budget...
