Knife For Rambo 4

I think they should go back to the original Lile knife. If you had been through that much **** with a knife would you really be trading it off every couple years for the "latest and greatest", thats your silent partner!

my first vote goes for the ka-bar warthog. Ive just liked it ever since I first saw it.

second goes for the szabo scythe thing. Bad assed blade.

third goes for something from Himalayan Imports allways liked a good kukri.

Many years later, when Rambo 3 was due, Stallones interest in fine knives was long gone, and when Gil Hibben offered to supply a one-and-a-half-foot macho toy in straight fantasy catalogue fashion, he was welcomed.
So you say that the Rambo III knife was made by Gil Hibben? I thought it was James A Keating

Yup -- he's a Bladeforums member, too, though he doesn't use his own name here (would you?)
Interesting... are there others in his league lurking around here? (Arnie, for instance) ;)

Back to the topic. For functionality, I'd pick an Ed Schempp design. For the looks, that would be Laci Szabo (who else) ;)

Either a Szabo American with a 9" or so blade, or a Fehrman Hood Hunter 10".
i've got a hh10 and this should be all the weapon one needs. now can someone tell me was Ron Hood designing a survival knife or a fighting knife cuz i can't tell :D

All I will say is, what every knife is chosen, I most likely will add one to my collection. ;)

I'm a sucker for those Rambo Movies ;)

My vote would be for Masters of Defence... I want to see a larger version of the Mk V Klingon dagger! I know its not really a Klingon dagger... but its flipping close! :p

I thought the knife in First Blood (Rambo I) was the best. John Greco could probably do a really nice knife if there were to be another Rambo movie.

A little off topic here, but along with the Rambo and Rocky movies, I liked Stallone in The Lord's of Flatbush, Paradise Alley and Copland. In general I like his movies, I also like the interviews he has given. Seems to have a pretty good sense of humor and takes the ribbing very well. And is well spoken and gives intelligent answers to even some of the rather silly questions he gets.

Actually, this says it all, I think:

It's a smooth chopper, an angry slicer and because of the "Guards" , it is a fine carver on man or meat.
