I had a knife sent from Canada on 11/9. and it is still not here .Is this normal since it is coming to the USA?
The guy who sent it said it could take up to 2 or 3 months.
How long has it taken others?

Thanks

I am from Canada.... I usually receive my knives from the US within 10 days....you should receive it by the end of this week or during next week "maximum"

There and back are probably not the same: because knives go through different customs. But 2 to 3 months sounds a bit unreasonable anyway.

I have never had a shipment take more than 20 days for first class. 10 days for priority. 2 -3 months is way off, i would be questioning that amount of time.

This is way too long, its time to start doing a trace on it. It should not take more than 2 weeks at most for shipments either way over the boarder.

Probably Canada Post stuck the knife in a log and shoved it out to sea, which is the usual way of processing mail here. Once it washes up on shore somewhere in the US and gets to US Mail, it should be at your door in three days or less. (In Canada we pay 5 cents for delivery, 95 cents for storage.) On the other hand, someone at US Customs could be playing with your blade.

Lol ya 2 or 3 months sent on horse back..

It all depends on what shipping service he used.
If you can, try to find out how much he paid or what shipping option he used.

But usually it's 8-10 days.

However, 3-4weeks is not out of the question this time of year. With Christmas coming up there is lots of extra packages going through the mail right now. That slows things down and holds up customs.

I agree! after 20 days,I'd be a wee bit worried.
