Knife Giveaway to Celebrate 1,000 Posts

The winner by a nose is Schuey2002. So many great ones were listed that I almost changed my mind. Several of them are very close seconds. John Wayne had successful, multiple collaborations with three great directors, John Ford, Howard Hawks, and Andrew McLaglen. "The Searchers" is my favorite of the Ford films, and "El Dorado" is my favorite Hawks work. These favorites can vary as time passes, but I always return to "The Searchers." That film is one for the ages; almost Homeric or Shakespearian in its qualities.

That certainly is a good one. Thanks for puttin' this on. So few people appreciate a good John Wayne movie nowadays. I had to drag some of mine out!

I'm still waiting to hear from Schuey2002. The knife is boxed up and ready to go.
