Not an entry, but a thank you for the great gesture!!
Cool knives, especially that Turkish Friction folder!!

Not an entry as there is no knife in the picture, but I assure you my S&M Woodsman was in my pocket and my Wood Jewel Carver was on my belt... ;)

Took this shot two weeks back at the Ravine Gardens State Park here in Florida. Out of about 60 shots that day, this is the winner.

Stunning! Thanks for the beautiful pictures all. I'll be announcing the winners around 10AM EST tomorrow and will hopefully have addresses to ship the knives out to come Monday morning. Final day for any who haven't gotten in!

Haven't seen any Svords on here yet, so here's mine tending the garden...

Hah, now I'm not alone with the blurry Buck I posted... I guess the trees just want to be in focus :)

Last chance to get in! I'll set 10AM EST as the cut-off time and then will plug the numbers into random.org to see who gets 'em~

Thanks for the chance! I'm in. Not much is green here yet, so here's a rock and some mulch from before our last snow:

Oof, sorry off to a late start this morning! Here we go....

The first place winner is........ post #4... jackknife !!!

And runner up........ post #3...... ddml !!!

Hmm not much numeric variance... ah well! jackknife gets first choice of the two knives and ddml gets the remaining blade! I'll have a PM or e-mail inbound for both of you to get some shipping addresses.

Thanks so much for everyone that chimed in, cool first giveaway!

Great stuff! From what I've seen, Carl hardly ever enters these contests, so that's great luck there, fantastic :)

Congratulations gentlemen, enjoy your knives

Thanks for the generous giveaway. Great to see everyone's pics :)

Jack

Wow! I almost never enter a giveaway, let alone win one. Thank you so very much to klineh for a great giveaway that has not one, but two winners. And congratulations to ddml for his win.

Now I have friction folders from France, Sardinia, and Turkey. Maybe I aught to get one of those Taramundi's from Spain just to round things out?:D

Carl.

Glad the knife is going to someone who can truly appreciate and won't hesitate to put it to use! Might I suggest adding a friction folder from New Zealand to your collection? My Svord Peasant Mini has been riding in my pocket every day for work in the past couple months. At $12 it holds up to everything my modern folders did plus excels in a few areas...

Anyhow, ddml will be getting the Mercator which is a plenty awesome and unique knife in its own rite! Might have to hunt down another for myself...

That Mercator looks great. I've often considered them. I had no idea they made a non-locking black cat. That rules. Carbon blade, too. So happy. I will post pics.

Thanks. Jon!

:D

That makes me happy...

Oh man, I got my Mercator from Jon today. I am so excited about this knife. I have had the black cat in my cart for the past month but I never pulled the trigger because I'm just not a fan of locking knives. This Mercator slipjoint is just great. Really good size, nice spear point, carbon steel and a bail! Austere, utilitarian, sharp, just the right thing.

I will bust out the DSLR soon and take proper pics but for now:

Thanks much, Jon!
