Congrats SpookyP! yeah how did you find it? the first knife I can find that he sold was a marked buck 112 to johnwaynesandw back in 7-28-07 (he never said he made it!) and his daughter being a LEO was easy ;)

and thanks Stomper, it was fun!

This is my first knife from Stomper knives indeed, Jake. I'm excited to see his work! I think the Kephart style catches my eye the most.

To find it, I tried hunting through the maker's area for a while, but then switched to google. He mentioned having sold him one 'before' and that was in January, so I took a guess.

Man I get back from work and it's already over !!!!!!

Well done spooky bro !!!!!!!!!

You know the knife I want to see in the next giveaway. hint hint...

It just goes to show you, it pays to quit your job so that you can spend all your time at WSS!

Or lose your job of 37 years, so you can hang out here, and pursue your dream of being a knifemaker! :D I`m starting to think that losing that job was one of the best things that ever happened to me. Everyone I know says it changed me for the better, and I`m sure not feeling the stress of an idiot boss! I miss the pay, but not the BS.

Producing steel = good, producing more steel = gooder

Very sorry to hear about the layoff, but I'm glad it's working out well for you! Always a good thing to hear about a maker growing their work.

Guys, John was generous enough to let me pony up some extra cash for the fullsized Kephart, so I could get a chance to see a full-bore woods blade from him. I'm excited to get it in my hands and I'll surely post some pretty pics when I do!
