So how well do you guys know your traditional folders ?
I had an idea where we try to guess the knife based on description ( brand and pattern at the most , don't worry about which exact model of of case trapper.. ect )
And who ever guesses first gets to give the next description.
The first one is a very easy one

It's a 5" closed lockback with a 3-3/4" clip point blade , brass bolsters pins and liners, with wood handle scales , and comes in a black leather sheath . ( 420HC blade )

It's a pattern that Case revived from the early 20th century. I believe Case re-introduced it in 2009 or 2010. The name of the pattern, not the pattern number, might remind us of an animal known to endure long periods without water.

It's available in Stockman, Whittler, and Half Whittler configurations.

Looking for the pattern name, not the number.

Would that be the swayback ?

Perhaps I should elaborate. Fill in the blank in each example:

__________ Stockman __________ Whittler

OK Rick, thanks. Humpback as in camels.

A knife GEC released with connexions to Athene...?

Regards, Will

Good question, Will. I'm going to guess my favorite GEC knife, which alas, I don't yet possess an example of -the White Owl.
