Knife guessing game ( based on description ) now guessing fixed blades

Right you are! You need to get a White Owl they come in many handle choices, Spear or Clip, carbon or stainless. GEC SHOULD release them again.

Over to you.....

...
A knife GEC released with connexions to Athene...?

Regards, Will

As in the Goddess of Wisdom & War, or the gamer?

Athena, spelling error..

Guess on!

Good question, Will. I'm going to guess my favorite GEC knife, which alas, I don't yet possess an example of -the White Owl.

Excellent "riddle", Will, and congrats on your fine answer, GaiusJulius!:thumbup: (GJ, I hope to pick up a White Owl someday, too; maybe we can get a group discount somewhere.)

I like this game; I don't think I'm very good at it, but I enjoy it as a spectator sport!

Edited with a new one, as I realized that mine did not strictly adhere to the first post guidelines. Sorry! Let's try this again.

From the sunny south I hail, though my lines were penned and blades first forged in Sheffield, I cut tobacco, and my most celebrated bearer bore an example by the name of Gilchrist.

+1. ...although I'll try, if I get an answer, I'll be like the slow loser on Jeopardy rapidly banging in vain on the button.

That must be a Congress as once owned by Abe Lincoln?

Got to go to bed now as it's 1.30 am here, even if I am a Night Owl....

IF my guess is right I'll already post another clue so you can work on it.

If it's wrong then carry on.....

Schatt & Morgan make a knife that Chuck Berry might've found useful in one of his songs...which knife?

Thanks, Will

What's with the riddles ? It's supposed to be descriptions :D

For example
" a synthetic handled folder available in any color that's around 2" long ,has a small blade, a nail file/flat head driver, scissors, toothpick, tweezers, and a small keyring" obviously it's a vic classic.
But if you guys are gonna play, then you might as well play how you want.

Does S&M make a Sweet Little Sixteen? (A small toothpick, I think.)

GT Good guess! I'll award it to you for creativity:thumbup:

What I was thinking was the first two lines from his song ' Let it Rock' "In the heat of the day down in Mobile Alabama, Workin on the railroad with a steel drivin hammer" So, RAILSPLITTER.

But, since 'riddles' don't seem to be appreciated....too obscure whatever...I'll stand aside and let GT give us something.

Over to you GT.:D

As usual, Will, you're very generous; thanks! :D:thumbup:
Here's my attempt:
3 blades, pattern name is a combination of 2 more familiar patterns, was a Forum knife one year.

That Chuck berry thing definitely was obscure and descriptions can be hard enough, but hey I like the way you think :devilish::devilish:

I think I have the answer, but since Will ruled that I was a winner on his last "riddle", I'll just play along at home and give someone else a chance. ;)
(I've played Jeopardy a lot, but never actually been on the show - again, I just play along at home.)
