Howdy fellas, Been on this forum about three months now, seen a lot of threads about knife/gun combos, Why not see what DOGS you fellas have. I love knives, Love guns... Love dogs (Not that way you sicko's out there)!

Anyhow, I have a purebred Golden Retreiver That I got from one of the top breeders i the U.S. My little guy was born without a tail, so I got him gratis from the breeders (they also own a bar in town, and I was their beer salesman, otherwise my little buddy would have cost me much $$$)

So..... I know everyone here has great knives... probably has great guns... but what about your dog(s)????

Let me start out with the "FAVORITE KNIFE, GUN, AND DOG(S) I OWN) portion of the forum.

KNIFE: (don't have it yet, on the wait list): Mayo TNT
LONG GUN: Colt AR-15
HANDGUN: Ruger GP-100 .357 4" barrel, full shroud stainless
DOG:, My little buddy, "Ruger" he's the man (canine?)

So, What do you have?

For my knives look here :

sorrily she died just 1 year ago,
soon we have "adopted" a Golden Retriever, (male, 10Y, very-very uneducated!),
we thought for sitting only but now he is with his holder
only when we cannot take him with us. (maybe 1 day/month, mostly less).

I am sorry for your loss... She was a beautiful pup.

Ruger is my first dog, and he is bull headed, much like your adopted dog... but he is SOOOO worth it. I love the guy... Any way, nice knives, guns (please don't point those at me!!!) and dog. your picture is very cool. I can see that she had a lot of personality!

I cant load any pictures, but
Favorite knife- wood inlay small sebenza
Favorite gun-Glock 19
Favorite dog-my beagle Norman(I also have a baby boston Terrier)

Hey kile, does my avatar look familiar? That's my Boston Terrier, Rocky. My other one is named Sammo, after the chubby little Kung-fu guy. Obviously these are my dogs of choice.

Knife: so far my favorite has got to be my Rekat Sifu. Close second is my 98 Commander.

Gun: My favorite handgun(that I own) is a SigSauer P228. My only other one is a Norinco cheapo.
I don't have any long guns to speak of.

at a "younger" age. Had to be put down two Summers ago. It was like losing a child. "ashes" stuck with me through thick and thin, and never complained, was always happy, and forever devoted.

Wolfmann, That is a beautiful dog... I almost wish I hadn't started this thread... so far I have seen two beautiful dogs that are not with us any longer. If anyone else is reading this

No... I would like to change the thread to a memorial for those "little buddy's" that are no longer with us... I figure a good dog should be recognized by all.

(I apologize if I have upset anybody who has had a dog that has passed... I only want to maybe give a tribute to all those pups that aren't with us any more....)

A picture of your pup would be great... I know I would love to see him/her. Thanks.

-Dave

Knife: Will probably be my PCKS 110 or my Anso Personal Sheepsfoot when I finally get them. Right now, it's my trusty REKAT Savant.

Gun: A tie between my Ruger GP100 4" and my vintage S&W 36 with equally vintage stag grips. The GP's been customized by myself and gunsmith Jim Stroh of Alphaprecision (I did a triger job, replaced the springs and sights, he Taylor throated it, tighted it up a bit, and recrowned the muzzle), but the 36 has more "character".

Dog: I only have one. She's a terrier mix (mostly Border Terrier) that my wife and I adopted recently. She was given up by the college kids that had her as a pup (probably after the novelty wore off  ) , adopted by a family, who then had to give her up to move after only 6 months. She's housebroken, obedient, friendly, quiet, etc. You couldn't ask for a better pet. Her one and only fault is that she can be snappish around other dogs that get in her face too much. She doesn't hurt them, but snarls and snaps till they get the hint. At some point in her life, someone must've abused her because she's a bit too "submissive" with people. If I walk up to her too quickly, she cowers down and exposes her belly as if to say "I'm sorry, love me please :( ).

Dogs are great and it only brings great memories. I have been a shepard owner since 1976 and "ashes" was the finest dog I have ever owned. Loved people, never agressive, but very protective of the family. Ashes was a pure champion and a devoted and loving friend.I really never thought much about needing a house gun for home defense as the dog was far faster than I in responding to any strange sounds.

Knife- Brand new custom by Newt Livesay. It's kind of like a field grade, parkerized Brend Model 2, but not. It's the nicest field knife I ever saw.
Gun-Glock21C
Dog-Chinese Pug

Knives - too many to count, but current fav is my DDR EDC custom. Will buy a TNT hawk when my bike is fixed up.

Guns - soon to be my Steyr SPP! :D

Pooch - Buddy Elvis Blue Suede Shoes, pictured below - the official dog of BFC

Well here goes:

Gun: Rifle - my Browning Safari grade 375 H&H Magnum, Handgun - Sig 229 in .40 S&W.

Knife: Fixed Blade - my custom Ron Gaston Bowie with 9 in blade and mother of pearl scales., Folder - my Carson Model 4, Carbon Fiber, Talonite.

Dog: That's Bandit, my 98 lb German Shepherd who's smarter, braver and tougher than 95% of the people I know.

Favorite knife (today) is my Carson medium model 4, in satin D2 and carbon fiber.
Favorite gun is a tough one, but since it's still rabbit season up here (till Sunday!) I'll say my Ruger Red Label O/U 20 gauge. I got lucky and got one with semi-fancy walnut.
Favorite bow: Mathews Q2XL. Outstanding.
Favorite dogs: Reese and Riley, chocolate and vanilla labs, combined weight of 220lbs and as crazy as they are lovable. I don't know if anyone else knows what a "Jollyball" is (relax...) but it's the best dog toy I've ever seen, especially if you have two pups. Looks like a green basketball with a D handle, made of the toughest rubber known to man. Great workout for the pups, and a helluva lotta fun to watch.
