I've got guns ... I've a TON of knives ...

... BUT GOSH DANG IT! ... I'd really like a dog. Preferably a bird dog (English Springer Spaniel, Pointer, Lab, etc.). :(

My life is too busy for one (he'd be neglected). If I could bring him to work ... I've have one in a half a heart beat! :D

Knife.Robeson Shuredge M 2,carried by my friends dad in WWII,saw use in the battle of Ardan.

Gun. 100 plus year old Reminton 12ga side by side. Was my grandfathers.

Dog. Don't own one.Can I put a collar on my wife?:D Go ahead and tell her, she's used to me.:p

It's great to see pictures of all these beautiful dogs! This was an inspired idea for a topic.

My favorite knife is probably still my Kershaw Boa and my favorite firearm is my H&K P7 M8.

My favorite dog is my best friend Aslan who passed away a couple years ago.

Aslan was the smartest dog I have ever met. Take a look at my web site, listed under my signature, for some stories about him and for info on my other pets.

Of course, I have loved all my dogs. The one I'm closest to now is my constant companion Chelsea.

I think Aslan left her detailed notes because she has taken over Aslan's duties since he passed on. I suspect taking care of me is one of those duties.

No guns... though I fondly remember my little Ruger 10/22. I refinished the stock on it myself, along with "rescuing" the gun from someone else's neglect.

Knife: Fixed probably my Scuba/Demo, folder 110 Stag BG42

Dog: Current (see Avatar) Gunnar will be 2 in June and spoiled... We got him 3 months after Harley (our previous GSD) died. Gunnar got (gets... ) away with murder in Harley's memory...

Knife; a tie large Sebenza/ Spyderco Wegner

Hey Jim... With handguns like that, who needs a BIG dog? Those are beauts.

Thanks to all who have posted so far.... I love the pics of all of your dogs/knives/guns. I particularly have enjoyed the posts of the Dogs... I wish I had a Digital Camera so I could post one of my little buddy... Ruger. I had to wait 28 years to get a dog. My parents would not let me have a pet when I lived with them, and it took 10 years since that to get establishedin my house ( I didn't want to get a dog til I had a large yard. ) As it turns out, though, Ruger is a serious couch-potato. He would rather be lying on my feet than racing around the back 40. I like this though, because it makes me get up and run around with him outside, I want to make sure he gets enough exercise...

Thanks all..

And, Mayo... ????? exactly what breed is that? Looks pretty intelligent...

Hello all, just needing some info on the knife/gun (.22cal), who makes it, where can you buy one at, Thanks for you help.

Hey, this IS a great thread idea! I don't have picture-posting knowledge, yet, so I'll just list 'em -
Knives: fixed blade: my Greco Explorer. It's an awesome field knife. Folder: my Griptilian in D2 holds an edge wonderfully and fits my hand and pocket well.
Guns: sadly, I don't own any yet :( Soon, though, I hope. I plan on starting out with a quality .22, either a Ruger MKII or a Taurus 8-shot revolver.
Dogs: my 2-year-old, 150 pound Newfoundland, Barnaby. Wish I knew how to post a pic, he's a beautiful boy! He's quite quirky. And slobbery! In memorium: Freckles the Basset Hound. She was very headstrong, very comical, and full of life and zest! She and I hiked many a mile together. I miss her.

Knife - Benchmade 3200 Auto
Gun - Kreighoff 12 ga O/U Skeet/Trap
Dog - Golden Retriever - Murphy Brown
Wife - The Dragon Lady

Not necessarily in that order.
