I have a Camillus Heathen knife (see ref. below) and i find the stock black canvas micarta handle a little too smooth to my liking....

Can anyone recommend a member on here that would do a handle mod to make some nice pattern on it?
in order to give it some kind of better grip?

any information on how to contact such member(s) would be greatly appreciated...thanks!

You could just use some sandpaper and rough them up a bit. Maybe some 220 grit would make a better grip.

The scales look removable. I can't give a recommendation, but a couple guys on the Becker subforum could probably make you some scales for it, if you sent them the knife.
Micarta is quite easy to work. If it were me, I'd make some thin (.030-.060) liners to install underneath the scales; wrap some sandpaper around a 1.5" dowel and work the scales down toward the front and rear to make a palm swell; finish up with a low grit (220 is a good number) sandpaper on the surface for added traction.
Good luck, and have fun with it.

ditto.

sand it in one direction only to get uniform scratches.
Ricasso to butt, then lift and again ricasso to butt, etc.

Hengelo_77, you're recommending sanding in a horizontal direction...length-wise of the handle... and not at an angle?
