... I really like the but have two questions. What is it you have chucked in the drill press and have you tried it on say, micarta or G10? That's gotta be a lot easier and faster way of shaping than what I have been doing.

It is a bow roller mounted on a 1/2" bolt. Bow roller = On the front of a boat trailer. You can find them at walmart for $3 or $4. I've also used 2" belts any lenght doesn't matter.

I wonder if those would make decent wheels for a home built grinder also. Self-centering and everything!!!

That is just cool, I love all the low budget ideas and builds that can be found here. I'm going to have to get me one of the rollers and try this out, it has to be better than doing it by hand.
