A Swiss Chef taught me that in hotel school.I normally don't hand someone a knife. I set the knife down and let them pick it up.
When opening a box instead of turning the box around I switch to reverse grip to open the other side (left of opposite in front)
I do that also: thanks for reminding me of how I work on my off-hand skills!
