Knife ID Please.

I hope you send those knives to us! The 112 looks to have a popped blade rivet anyways so we need to fix that. I would recomend that you send them to my attention, with a note explaning what you want done. Unless the backbone of the handle is actually cracked, we should be able to help that oldie out a lot. I only mention the cracked handle possibility because it happens sometimes if the back of the knife has been beat upon. From the looks of the rest of the knife, i have a feeling we will be just fine.
The Workman line was actually an attempt by Buck to gain entry into more hardware stores. We wanted our knives to be viewed more as general "tools", not just for hunting. Or at least we wanted to present the Workman line as such. There were maybe a half dozen models that can be found with that logo.
I hope this helps.

My limited examples of the variety of the Workman effort . Blade etches can be easily eroded by heavy polishing... Notice the black scale, the grey rule doesn't always apply..........Some here on forum specializes in these...??.........300

I am very honored that Mr. Houser has replied to my thread. Thank you, Mr Houser. Will I send the knives to the address listed on the warranty page of your website? With Attn: Joe Houser attached of course.

The spine is not cracked that I can see. It looks like the knife fell and the metal and micarta of the spine was dented. There are some definite scratches and there might, big might, be a hairline crack or two on the micarta.

May I please ask a question? About the 112, for the guys in the workshop at Buck, I don't want the blade replaced. I know that they will have to see the knife in hand to tell the extent of restoration needed. But, I am concerned that a lot of metal will have to be removed from the blade to return it to factoryish specs.

And for 300Bucks what is the blade steel on the 303V Workman? I was planning to ask for the blades to be replaced on the 303v, but I realized that I don't know what the blade steel is.

Thank all you guys and gals,
squashfan
