Knife Identification

Hi All,
I am new here, and trying to identify a knife my father has given me. Ive included a couple of photos. The only markings I can make out in "inner" on one side. My father believes it used to say "Skinner" Any help would be appreciated. Thanks All.

Welcome. The knife is a gift from your father, so you should treasure it.

Dropping all sentimentality for a moment, unless there is some knifemaker named Skinner, a knife labeled "skinner" is probably Japanese and from the 70s? Not a high quality collectible. (Labeling a knife "skinner" or "Bowie" is like a car maker coming out with a model called "Sedan.")

Could be wrong.

But I would treasure it...put it in my pocket and use it, just like pops did.
