theres someone on the Low Yat Forums importing knives to malaysia. This is a good thing by the way... now he has a collection of Spyderco Byrd Knives available for bulk purchase..

now if this doesnt appeal to you he also has "access to SOG, Paul Chen, Harley Dvidson, Gerber, Buck knives, Cold Steel, Columbia River Knife & Tool, Kershaw Knives, Smith & Wesson Knives, UZI Knives, Limited Edition & Serialized, Kyocera Cutlery, Lord of The Rings from United Cutlery and etc, not to mention Benchmade & Emerson too", from what he said so like if theres anything message him or make a wishlist here and we can pass it to him and the knives will be posted to the buyer

Dude ~ Thanks for the heads-up, but I think its inappropriate for you to plug for the guy here as any form of advertising or spamming is not allowed.. ;)

Agree with samo. No advertising. Plus i don't see the advantage of buying from him since he doesn't keep it in stock. You can't feel the knife first. Might as well buy straight from newgraham.

Thanks P44! :D Selling knives on a computer forum seems purty odd to me.. I have heard of middle-men broking goods of all sorts through a trading house abroad. You can get many things including knives.. Just a word of caution -- be wary of fakes and knock-offs! There has been instances where fake CRKTs and Emersons being sold at premium prices.. Just be careful.. ;)

You can talk about dealers in TGB&U.

:foot: right kinda plugging w3as not my attention. i am unrelated to the guy. was just calling attention. either ways. yeah that was just an altyernative to thiose who are unable to order knives and all from newgraham or knifecenter
Speaking of Testimonies, another forumite here, DaWs, says that he got his S&W Ti something or other well from the post from him the other day so it was kinda reputable
nonetheless
thanks for pushing this thread in the right direction

An LEO bud was telling me about his S&W Ti and I told him he was full of it,looks like I am. :foot:

What, is Taylor Cutlery making a TI knife? Um ... no.

This Urban Titanium Camo knife was custom designed by Darrell Ralph. The handle and blade are made of 440C Anodized Stainless Steel with a Titanium Coated Camo pattern covering the entire knife.

That would seem to indicate the paint they used contains titanium, but it probably doesn't; it probably means the painted finish looks similar to anodized titanium in the opinion of the manufacturer. That might not fit the legal definition of false advertising. Only a court could say for sure.

If you were to look into it further you would probably find the claim that the handle is made of 440C is a "mistake," and I wouldn't be surprised if the claim that the blade is 440C is a "mistake" too and it's really 440A if you're lucky....

Almost all paints (and anything that has coloration) contain Titanium dioxide.

Glad to hear this as bud is one of those,"I know everything there is to know about knives" types and definitely needs his balls busted. :p

I didn't know that, but I might have guessed it ... they can't very well use lead white any more.
