Knife in your pocket. Shoes on your feet?

Happy Friday everyone, it's a casual day for me, so I've got my half cab's on (I used to cut my full cab's down back before they came out with half cabs). any old skateboarders here? carrying a pair of Damascus kershaw's that I recently aquired.

Was heading out and remembered this thread from yesterday. Very interesting and a nice way to imagine what and how people use their knives.

This is my "work combo" and usually my "casual combo"

These are the only shoes I have some sentimental attachment to, my old beat up wrestling shoes. When I put them on to train or compete, I forget about all my problems. I've got newer ones, but I just can't stop using this pair. I bought them as a cheap back up, but they are perfect. The knife is a compact fixed blade made by a friend that I always take when I travel to tournaments, it gets tons of use.

Nice thread!

Here's my Ahnu Belgroves and ALOX SAK (Electrician). I've worn these shoes across several continents including Africa and several parts of Europe. I love them.

These are my Asolo FSN 95 GTX's. I've never worn a more comfortable pair of shoes - ever. I think those Italian shoemakers must've snuck in to my house one night while I was sleeping and made a last from my foot! They're that good! The knife is my Benchmade Contego.

These Asics GT-2170's are pretty new but each year I buy a new pair in this line. I've bought a pair a year for a long time and every time I get nervous that they change too much but not so far! The knife is my Fallkniven U-4 (Beartooth). It's more like a scalpel than a knife and super light!

I wear these Merrell Moab Ventilators to work every day. I like them because they are vented so my feet don't sweat. I wear a pair of the mid-height models with Gore-Tex as light hikers when it's cold. The Griptilian is a full-size Ritter in S30V. This one has superb lockup with no bladeplay or other issues and the heat treat is amazingly good. I love it. You can also see my other EDC, a Victorinox SwissTool. This is the best multi-tool I've ever owned. The pliers are really good.

Awesome shoes everyone. Looks like we all hike a lot or plan for trail work here and there. I'm a tech in healthcare. Limits me to running shoes. I love my Keen's for EDW. everyday wear?

I wore these Red Wings almost everyday for the past 4-5 years. Still going strong.

The Nikes go better with shorts...

Made in Winnipeg, and made right. After years of looking these are the best I've had (didn't fall apart after six months).

My grail boots right now would be some Canada West Forester boots. I hear they're pricey but man do I want some.

Wore these earlier. Have since changed to another pair of Nikes because i went to the park today. Also switched the Skyline for a few fixed blades and a slippy.
