Knife info help?

Hello all! I am helping a friend's dad downsize the amount of "stuff" he has. Unfortunately, much of what he has is not in my area of expertise. He has a couple of knives that he wants me to sell, but I was hoping to see if anyone here could shed some light on any relevant details you may see. If I remember correctly, he said he bought them in Alaska. The first one looks to have an engraving of Jacobs Wootz. Thanks in advance for any knowledge you might be able to share.
