I know someone here is bound to know something about dalton knives.
I came across a ranger otf for what I consider a good price and would like some history, info, value idea.
Thanks to anyone who can help me. Image can be seen from the link below, I can't post it via phone for some reason.

Better suited in the auto forum with title clarification.

OP's knife in question.

From what I can find made around 1995 by Rob Dalton of ATS-34 steel.

From what I know, Dalton makes OK quality knives.

They have been shunned by many in the community (and by some dealers) because of their use of Nazi symbolism on their knives.

I certainly would never buy one.

Ok, my flame suit is on. No feelins hurt here, I'm not racist in any sort of the word and I would be willing to bet, anyone with even the slightest clue what it is would pay what I paid lest you be a fool. I'm just trying to get some history and idea of value.

Best I can remember, that Ranger was started around 95..... far as value, I saw one a few years back sell for close to $600

I went to AZCK site and clicked on Rob Dalton (knives by maker) and out of 300 or so sold knives
there were 6 Rangers selling from $400 to $700.

Looks to be in good shape. There are a lot of Dalton fans out there, and they were all short run builds. $500 would be a good benchmark.. I've seen them bid up pretty high on Sharperdeals.com. Arizonacustomknives sells a lot of Daltons too. However, I'd hang onto it if you could. He made some very interesting knives, and there aren't any more being made... Good Luck
