Knife info wanted (Dalton Ranger)

From what I can find made around 1995 by Rob Dalton of ATS-34 steel.
Most all of his (our) blades were made from 440c stainless
Bought from Japan
Ground to 1/8” thickness in California
Then sent to us in Lexington
I’m sick of not getting any noteriety for the work I did on all of those knives

And yes he is one of the biggest racism driven - non God believing
Government hating people you will ever experience
Hates kids too

If you are wondering
I had as much if not more to do with the design and especially manufacturing of all those knives
The titanium ones were the pain in my ass to work out
Our deal was to be 50 / 50
I have yet to hear my name even mentioned anywhere -anytime

Hi. I have a Dalton Combat knuckleduster made out of aluminum, and it says "knock you the f-ck out" on one side. Its 1/2 inch thick, and anodized red. It also has three spikes on top above the knuckles. Did you make these too, or Dalton himself? Thanks in advance.

Who are you exactly?

Yes, please tell us more. I've owned a scorpion OTF for a long time, but was unaware of the character of Dalton.

Those were a next project on the list when I left.
I did not make them.
I left in 2005.

By the way- he (Dalton) didn’t “make” much of anything much himself after I started.
He sawed and ground blades for the pre 1996 seal knife. A separate machine shop made the handles.
Good God those were chunky !!

You still seem angry after having left 13 years ago...
Angry? Not so much that .
I dislike people not knowing the facts about what went on behind the scenes and credit not going to proper people.
He used terms like “Seal Team” and “UDT” like he knew them.
NOT A CHANCE IN HELL
All sales gimmicks.
I wonder if anyone ever asked if any of them were used by Seals and/or the Underwater Diving Team?
I don’t believe they would get caught dead with one in a life or death situation.

Sell it before the charging handle end blows out !

Sadly I did,not long after the guy contacted me as he blew out the end of the charging handle just as you stated... people doubted things you’ve said on various forums, I may become a believer after you hit this nail on the head!!

I’d say there are some “doubters” (especially some selling these knives) but I am the real deal and state facts!

One big deal when we started was the machinery that was bought.
HAAS machines !
Best on the market - in my opinion.
Made in America!
A couple of hundred thousand dollars worth !
Half mine as we agreed in the beginning.
I guess he figured after 9+ years of watching me draw knives with cad programs and program the machines, (also run parts) , he could do it.
Things changed (in his mind) and I started noticing this.
Then he changed the locks on the shop doors without telling me. He said there must be something wrong with my key.
Anyway- he didn’t last long after I left.
My biggest mistake was not having a contract or written agreement!
Big mistake- I should have my ass kicked for that.
O well, live and learn.
At least I was mindful enough to get away from him before I did something really stupid.

So i have one of his small auto knives that the spring broke. I guess the lifetime warranty cant be fufilled since hes apparently out of business?
