KNIFE KIT QUESTION

I want to buy a knife kit for a SOG bowie (the leather handled style from Viet Nam). Does anyone out there make such a kit? If so how can I reach them?

Nope, take a look at the SOG brand "Bowie" or "Trident" and you'll see what I would like to make out of a kit.

I have seen the knife your talking about but I haven't seen any kits for it. I think the best you can do short of getting a someone to make you a kit, is go to www.jantzsupply.com and order a catalog. Get a hidden tang bowie blade whatever size you want, some leather washers, a guard, and a pommel for it. It won't be a real close copy of the knife you want, but it will be similar to making it from a kit, and cheaper than gettting a custom kit made I think.
