Knife Ladies in Movies and TV

The difference with Leanna the show is Leanne is a not a trained killer or villain, just a chick. I did not know that Agelina can handle a butterfly knife or was a collector. I knew I like her for a reason.

My wife is fond of showing me these little clips on social media that she thinks I might find interesting. The other day it was this lady game warden or park ranger, got a call about a gosling tangled up in string. She radios for support, because she know the area and the species, and geese parents are very protective. Gets there, finds the chick, and sure enough, they wrangle this thing to a chorus of angry honks.
It's at this point I wonder out loud why my wife thinks I'd be terribly amused by this video. "Keep watching."
The guy she called for backup is holding the little bird away from the approaching flock while this girl takes her (what looks to be) Buck 110 or 112 and frees the baby from several coils of fishing line in a matter of seconds. He quickly set it back in the grass in front of the black cobra heads waddling toward them, and they all lived happily ever after.
Wife looks at me and grins, and I said my hope is that her and the kids would be that calm and sure with the right tool for the right job when needed. I think that was the same week as the episode of Alien Earth where Wendy kills a xenomorph with a blade from a paper slicing board, off camera.

A few more:

Galadriel, Lagertha, Éowyn, Alice (Resident Evil), Joan of Arc, Boudica, Xena warrior princes and her sidekick chick, Guinevere (Keira in King Arthur)

Emily Blunt in Edge of Tomorrow killing mimics with that big honking sword

In THE OLD GUARD movies, Charlize plays leader Andy who wields a distinctive two-headed axe as her primary and signature weapon. It is an ancient weapon called a labrys that dates to the Bronze Age. Her devotion to the weapon is a key element of Greg Rucka’s story, as it serves as a powerful anchor to her ancient past. IMG_1856.jpeg

There was a TV series in 2012 called Revolution.
It was basically a big "Grid down" situation with a lot of other back story and such. Most of the characters carried and used knives, swords, bows and crossbows through most of the show.
I thought it was a pretty good show.
