Knife Laws in California

Hello,
would anyone here happen to know if carrying or owning in your home a butterfly knife is legal/illegal in the state of California.

Before asking a question like that I usually advise using the search feature. You'll find tons of info on California law. Short answer: butterfly knives are considered switchblades in California, and the same restrictions apply.
