We are coinig over to Florida next year to take the little one to Disney World etc and I need to know what the rules in Florida are please?

Also can I carry into places like Disney World?

Your help is appreciated

The Orlando parks run hot and cold on knives, but the Cape (space center) is 100% against them. Just leave your knives safely in the car and enjoy the parks. Knives may be useful in the real world, but if you are paying $50+ a day to visit fantasy land, you might as well relax and enjoy it.

Actually, unless it's changed in the last three or four weeks, Disney World was okay with knives. Having said that I wouldn't carry anything but a SAK or other innocent small folder. Sea World has a pretty strict policy if they catch you.;) Universal wasn't using metal detectors but I don't know what their real policy. If you could do search on Disney, Sea World etc. on the main discussion board you would find several links. The easist way to really find out is to email the parks. Most of them seem to be pretty straight forward about their policy when I've talked to them.
