knife laws in markham, toronto, ontario?

Carrying a folding knife shouldn't be a problem. I was down in April for a week, I carried both my folding knives, a large Katz Cheetah (bit bigger than a buck 110) on my belt, and the Spyderco police clipped on my pocket. Nobody gave it a second look.

Markham is the boarderline area between the rural and city area, and I saw plenty of others wearing folders like buck 110s on the belt.

Calgary is the only place I know of where one MUST conceal their knife; in many other places in Canada, concealing it is construed by SOME cops as showing ill intent(meaning: weapon).
You'd probably win in court, but why suffer the hassle?
Open carry is usually better; at least have a pocket clip showing.

yeah! its so confusing...cuz if i conceal it, the cops will charge me, but if i let it out in the open, it'll scare the public (i think)
