I am traveling to the carribean this spring, specificly Dominica. (not dominican republic). I am having a hard time finding info on carry laws for knives there. Would appreciate any help greatly.
I would stick to a SAK. It's the only knife I will carry outside of the U.S.A. SAKs are internationally recognized as tools and they are cheap to replace if lost, confiscated, etc.
If you are going there on a cruise ship you may have issues getting on and re-entrty after shore excursions. There are some threads addressing cruise ships. Otherwise, IMHO, a SAK should almost never be a problem. Then again, I don't think a Bowie should be a problem.... if you know what I mean.
