What are the knifes laws about carrying a knife concealed and unconcealed? I have a 7" and 8" blade. Does it make a difference if it is concealed or not?

Every state and locality is different. Before your question can be answered, you need to check your local city/town/village regulations, then refer to your state's penal code for state laws. There are no federal laws concerning the day-to-day carry or concealment of knives (at least not any of which I'm aware).

Best advice is to call your local county police and your state police. Can't speak for other states, but MD was very open and helpful.
