Is there anywhere besides knifemaking websites to get suitable liner/spacer material for fixed blade knives? Maybe a hobby store or something? I'm looking for .06" liner in bright green. I see it on USAKnifemaker, but it's never in stock.

You could make your own paper mycarta for spacers. Choose the color of paper that you are interested in and make up a batch. There are tutorials on here that explain how to make mycarta.

Go to Lowes. In the isle where they sell "For Sale signs" you will find they sell it there for sign making

I've all but given up on USAKnifeMaker.com. I'm not sure what's going on, but it seems that about 90% of supplies I go to look for on there are "Out of Stock". It's a shame, because they used to be my first stop for EVERYTHING. Now, I hardly bother even looking, because I can just about guarantee they won't have it.

AKS is about the only place I'll buy G10 from anymore. Great quality, great prices, and they consistently update their inventory.

Yes, I like that about them.
