Yeah. My apologies. Just have seen some false posters lately (some after me and such). I was trying to conduct my self well ;) No hard feelings?

Thank you all for your help, I will try to get myself hooked up with the knifemaker status through the upgrade section above sometime this week and perhaps it will be a little easier for me. Sorry for the inconveinance and hope to see you guys soon
Regards;Dwaine

Glad to hear it, Dwaine. Hope to see you hangin' round here in ShopTalk...show us a thing or two. ;)

Okay. Please allow me this: it is difficult for me to understand and to accept a man so gifted and yet use such fowl writing. I will, for now, take back my last post. However, I doubt you make those knives. If you could you would not use such ignorant speak. You would be of better up bringings. Maybe its just me. The old school ya know. I just gotta feeling you ain't for real. But if ya are ya are and I want to learn from ya because I liked what I saw. I am skeptical.

No offense taken Sir and Thank you for taking that back, I appreciate it. Also I can assure you those are my knives and I do make them myself sheaths and all with no one else working in my shop ever except for me ! I have been accused many times by folks saying that there ain't no way I am making those knives and sheaths, and I dont understand, I mean if someone else was making there name would have been in the magazine articles and there name would have been on the Pirela collab. And trust me Joel Pirela has a very good reputation and is one heck of a designer and would never associate himself with someone who is faking it. None the less I hope we are all cool now and can continue to be freinds and colleagues and help eachother and share ideas with one another, after all thats why we are all here is to strive to better ourselves, share ideas, share our art, and have a good time.

Sincerely; Dwaine Carrillo

Very well then. I expect to see you as "Knifemaker" within a very few days. You pay what we pay for that and I eat crow, gladly. Also, that happen I will be leaning on you for advise because I surely like much of what I saw.

Roger

That is exactly what I am going to do probably about the middle of the week once a few checks clear the old bank and everything else I got to pay out this week is done I will get'r squared away. and I noticed some guns on you webpage and I did concealment system coatings on firearms for years before I started making knives, as a matter of fact I used to acid etch stainless slides and barrels with patterns like the one on the knife we just posted as well as several painting processes. Needless to say I am sure we can all learn alot from eachother and I look forward too it.

Welcome to Blade Forums Shoptalk, Dwaine. :) We scratch and fight and bite a wee bit amongst ourselves but this is a bend-over-backwards-to-help each other bunch of makers.

Good people are always welcome here.

Dwaine,
What Mike just said, but most of us read all the other forums. Having difficulty getting on seems to be a continual problem. None the less, welcome to the forum. You can input and be part of us, or you can advertise.
This is a tough bunch. :)

Thank you all for your help, and Mr. Carson sure hope to see you this year at BLADE, I'm deffinetely a Fan.

Man! I can't believe y'all haven't heard of Dwaine or Air Kat Knives.
Y'all need to get out of the shop more often.

His knives are every where, there for sale on almost every knife Purveyor website you care to look at, and they sale like hot cakes at the not to be mentioned green and black forums!

Who cares if he has computer skills or not, just look at the knives and sheaths he makes! WOW! That's what it's about right? Knives and knife making.

Dwaine e-mail on the way.
