I'm doing a bit of research for a friend. He was given this knife as a gift several years ago from his father who had this piece made for him by _________Watson(???). I'd like to know this maker's first name so I can do a bit more for my friend. The reverse side of the handle also has the wire-inlaid leaf motif. These are the only two photos I have. Does the knife style ring a bell with anyone?

Thanks for your help,

-Peter

Billy Watson, Deatsville, Alabama, Billy makes some very fine knives and is a true gentleman and is partnered with his very nice wife, Ms. Minnie, if my mind serves me right, Check Alabama Forge Council for more info about him.

I concur, Billy Watson.

I have a very nice Damascus folder with fine silver wire on a curly maple handle and nice file work too.

I think he has retired.
