Knife making lessons in Westchester, NY?

New England and New York are full of knifemakers.
I would suggest checking out the New England Blacksmith's Guild and the New England Bladesmith's Guild. They hold a major seminar every year at Ashokan in September.
 
As another mentioned, highly regarded master bladesmith Joe Szilaski is in Dutchess Co. and offers group and individual instruction. I took a 2-day forging/griding workshop with him. It was and continues to be valuable to my work. Joe is very welcoming with his knowledge and his shop is very well set up to offer workshops and instruction. For better or worse he is in my mind every time I am forging or grinding! In addition to the knowledge that I continue to use, I was able to finish one high quality knife in the scope of the workshop and take with me 3 other blades to finish on my own.
