Off Topic Knife Making Spaces for Hobbyist - Garage with Cars

Just a couple thoughts - sorry if this is a duplicate of earlier posts.

if you go with drywall, unfinished drywall is kind of a magnet for dust, and hard to clean. Hatento say it - mud and paint it.

my space is in my basement, and i am kind of hemmed in in terms of ventilation. Im keeping the dust more or less in check, but sometimes weird smells accumulate. I REALLY wish i had an exhaust to the outside - you might want to consider putting one in before you are totally framed in (including exhaust from your dust collectors)

I think that the "screw anywhere" is a good point. A big plus for plywood/osb walls.
Still paint it white, it reflects light and is easier on the eyes.

I bought the cheap painting canvases at HF and “walled off “ by side of the garage. Works decently.
I hose off car frequently and often pull it out of garage on the rare all day session of “puttering in the garage “( as my wife calls it )

The best solution; build a shed - run some extension heavy gauge wire etc, and you're not fighting with garage storage ; )
