Hey all you makers north of the border.

Thought I would start a thread about where to find supplies in Canada.

https://onlinesupply.ca (Skookum tools) has a ton of belts, bandsaw blades, abrasives, tools, flap wheels etc. Can make you any length bandsaw blade you want for a good price. Order today and it is on your doorstep a couple days later. Even when they have to make you the bandsaw blade.

https://www.caribouknives.com/ These guys will do heat treat. I think it is $35 for the first knife and then $5 for every knife after that in a batch. Really know their stuff around stainless steel HT. They will also supply you with select types of steel. Don't know if they ship, but you can buy in person. They sell the ends of the AEB-L sheets that they plasma cut for cost...like about $8/lb.

https://www.knifemaker.ca/ Canadian Knifemaker - steel, grinders and everything else including HT.

Great idea.
I really like knifemaker.ca and i will check the others out. I havent found a place to get higher end materials in canada. I get all my titanium and folder stuff from the states.

Knife maker.ca is my go to for belts, g10 and Micarta. Usually get them in 2 days.
I got some bandsaw blades from online supply, they will make them in custom length and are high quality. They easily cut annealed S35vn, M4 and aebl.
( I flood the steel with oil as it cuts).
Willie71 does my heat treat, we live about 5 miles apart, he has been a huge help in my path down the rabbit hole :)

Bimetalinc.com for VSM belts
westwaymachinery.com for Lenox blades.
Stabilizedwood.ca for some wood.

Just bumping this thread since the topic came up again. I don’t have the patience to try and link this to the new thread

Pops Knife Supply sends supplies to Canada and Europe all the time.
