Knife Making Supplies in Canada

I HIGHLY recommend AKS. Always been top notch service with me.

We also do a lot of business up in Canada. It’s usually large orders as shipping for one blade is not worth it. But thy like the fact that thy can order blade blanks from me and it’s only shipping cost one way.

Looking for Canadian Suppliers as shipping currently from the US is taking almost a month to get anything.
Instagram has a few canadian stablized wood suppliers.
What type of materials are you looking for? I find it impossible to find one supplier with everything I use. AKS is my go to for steel, but they also have a great selection of micarta and g10.
Belts from knife maker.ca

Canadian forge and ferrier. I just ordered 3 gallons of parks 50. Within 2 hours of placing the order I had a confirmation that it had shipped. 3 days later it was sitting on my doorstep. Great prices as well

Belts, bandsaw blades, drill bits, burrs and router bits = Onlinesupply.ca

Super quick delivery. Ordered some bandsaw blades and got a message that a couple of them were not in stock and would have to be made. Darn, I'm going to be waiting a while....Next morning I got a message that my blades had been made in their shop and had been shipped. Total of 2.5 days from order to my doorstep!

Also, huge variety to choose from, and they can make any length for you.

There are knife supply businesses in Canada, but the only advantage they have is inventory.

For the most part, they all get supplies in the USA.

You end up paying all the shipping, customs and so on, plus their profit, plus shipping again to you.

If you buy large enough orders, make the shipping costs spread out over more material.

Get in touch with industrial supply houses, find out what they have.
You can get glue and kiln supplies locally, some other things.

For wood my favorite place is the woodshed in grimsby ontario. Another good one is exotic woods in Burlington. I'm local so I don't know if either ships.

Hey Scott, I'm local as well, seen your knives. Amazing work.

I know you do custom knives, but you don't happen to do blanks by any chance?
