Anodized the clip and backspacer to blue.

Anodized pivot collar blue

Anodized the clip on the left purple.

Here is a more advanced job. Purple and light blue anodization. I tried to get kind of an oil on water effect but it is hard to capture.

How did you go about doing this?
I've been considering it with some old files against a 54 Rockwell 5160 knife, but I'm afraid I'll ruin it.
Any advice?

A little more invasive, Sanrenmu H02: removed scales, added comfortable finger choil, slightly reprofilled the handle shape and substantially shortened the handle (including removing lanyard hole). Now it is quite handy slipjoint with full 5-finger grip and something I call "finger lock".

After batoning my way through some Christmas potatoes with the low convex saber grind on this Blackjack model 4 (Mini Randall model 1 clone, ain't it adorable) I couldn't take it anymore

Lil oil to take the sharpie off

I will say one thing, that A2 doesn't grind easy.

First ever attempt at a regrind came out pretty good. Did this zero bevel on a harbor freight 1x30. The waviness on the front is just a reflection, i finished it on a 1200 grit belt. Still have to clean it up a little but this thing is SCARY sharp.
