Knife Nut's Girlfriend looking for perfect storage system

I wouldnt recommend that Harbor freight chest! My bro in law had it! You get what you pay for. I would save up a little and get a Craftsman chest if you like that style! They re alot nicer! Harbor freight is all chinese crap! :)

harbor freight is hit or miss, some of their products are a good value..

however, I've bought cheap tools from them to do a basic task ONCE and broke them doing it before.

Pelican cases are a a little bit too big and expensive for me.
If you'd like something similar, check out Serpac/Seahorse cases.

I'm a supporter of the Craftsman tool chest idea. They are lockable, which keeps curious guests and visitors at bay, and they are too large for a thief to easily carry off. Watch for holiday sales at the Sears Craftsman website.

Consider something like a steamer trunk or footlocker that could be dually-used as knife storage and a piece of furniture. They can often be found for not much money at second-hand or antique stores. Some are metal, and you can add your own lock hasps.

Fill one of these puppies with blade steel, and no one's going to carry it off. (random online picture)
