For fans of one of the greatest shows ever, here is the knife of Brock Samson. 1084, with my first try at a stacked leather handle.

That looks like the rambo knife after a few cycles  1084 to boot that should chop anything.

Hehe thanks guys :D .

Here's some stats:

blade length - 11 5/8"
Overall - 16 7/8"
handle - 5"
butt cap and guard are 3/8ths thick by 1"
Width - 1 1/2"

My guess is that those deep and pointed "saw teeth" are going to prove to be the point of failure on the blade if it gets any side torque. Big time stress risers, unless I miss my guess.

Other than that it looks to be a well made knife.

It would be much better if there were generous radii at the bottom of the notchs.

should have a shorter, wider blade and the notches are too big. His knife has finger grooves as well.

Great show.

There is about a 1/4 inch radius at the bottom of each tooth, the teeth and continuing area around them was torched blue also.

Sam! Arrr, Barrett and I had finally come to an understanding that my unlicensed costumed aggression against him was indeed unsanctioned by the Guild and thus we were going to collaborate together on an official OSI Samson knife. Ohhh that does it! Consider yourself arched!! I won't mess around I'll apply to the guild for official licensing and totally arch your ass! I was working on a replica moppet stiletto, so just be warned that if I see any little pointy things being made by you, you will see the wrath of Cashen!!

To all you other's who are not on my, or the Phantom's, $#!&list, I have a question for you...... Molotov or Dr. Girlfriend???;)

I often flip between July and September on my Venture Brothers Calendar simply to admire Jackson Public's "talents in illustrating" these two characters, how ever I do definitely have my favorite. Oh yess that is right! I have my own official Venture Brothers Calendar hanging in my shop so you can all glare green with envy, except you Sam... you can simply display the fact that you are a tapestry of quiet desperation! And you will rue the day!!

And now I will go back to quietly waiting for Season 4 (they say this Nov.:D:D).

P.S. Sam if it is not going to work out for you with this whole arching thing, let me know I was also thinking of applying with the Guild to go after Jason Knight instead, I already am gathering some henchmen for that one:).

P.S.S. Wanted for trade for a really cool sword- 1 Monarch Lunchbox! That would be the COOLEST thing ever made by man and I would sell my soul to have one!

Cool knife Sam. :] It'll come in handy if any mummies get caught in your landing gear.

Kevin, I'd never have guessed you were a fan of the show :p

I am not just “a” fan I may be the greatest fan (short of dressing like Dean at conventions)! Venture Brothers is not just one of the best shows, it is THE best animated show if not the best show of any kind ever made! I was hooked as soon as I saw the very first airing of the pilot episode years ago on Adult Swim, and now have all the shows on DVD and am working on wearing the DVD’s out. Anybody who had to endure those horrible cheesy Johnny Quest cartoons in the late 60’s will immediately fall in love with the Venture Brothers, so if you are in a certain age group:o you can appreciate where I am coming from. I got Rick Barrett totally hooked on the show a couple years ago and now it is a total must that we get some beer and pop in the DVD’s whenever we get together. The hardest I ever laughed in my life (so hard I threw up), was when Rick and I were watching the episode "Are You There, God? It's Me, Dean" and heard the web address for the testicular torsion site during the Venture family public service announcement. Rick and I thought for second before both diving for the computer and when the testes logo appeared we woke up everybody in my house and had to go outside to stop laughing.

I think we need to find out how many members there are in the Bladesmiths Venture Brothers Fan Club, who out there are fans? I know we have an official meeting whenever Rick, Jason Knight and myself get together.

And by the way, Molotov or Dr. Girlfriend? So far with most asked it is hands down Dr. Girlfriend! Molotov is a tease, and Dr. Girlfriend is hot, hot, HOT! That sexy voice is too much, who can resist that flemmy rumble?;)

I agree, it has to be the best show ever on TV, it has everything even cockpits and booby traps! I am down with the arching, though I am a bit soft so you might have to go totally nerf :), so I suggest arching Jason Knight instead. Have any openings for a henchman? I got dibs on the number 21 spot because smurfs are totally mammals.

RUE NOTHING! I have a line on not only a Monarch lunchbox, but a Brock Lunchbox as well ha HA!

Moppet stilettos, that will be really cool :D Those little guys are creepy! I don't envy you trying to find some screencaps of those, finding clear pictures of Brock's knife were hard enough.

EDIT* OH YEAH, Dr Girlfriend all the way, for the obvious 3 pack a day reason!

The only bad thing it is that it runs on Adult Swim, which has turned to crap lately. I always miss it somehow because I'm trying to avoid seeing Tim and Eric and getting eye cancer from the horribly bad show.

...and Dr. Girlfriend all the way. Molotov is a little lanky and crazy. :D

AMEN!!! Adult Swim had a promising future ahead of it until they decided the lowest budget stupid crap would dominate their line-up. I thought Korgoth was funny enough that I wanted to see more episodes, Metalocalypse is funny sometimes but it has a stoner Beavis and Butthead quality to it. Then Family guy used to be in my list of favorites until Seth MacFarlane decided he wanted to be Garry Trudeau instead of the comic genius he was when that show started on Fox. I am really ticked at MacFarlane for that. Going political is bad enough but I don't get going partisan political and immediately alienating half of the potential audience; all artists do their best work on their way up and then get cocky and put out trash when they reach the top. Let's hope Jackson Public and Doc Hammer keep struggling, they went political in a side splitting evenhanded way in "Guess Who’s Coming to State Dinner?" where the President character totally shreds the last two administrations equally, it was perhaps the funniest and most edgy of the second season. The Alchemist character is funny to ATHF fans because his voice is that of Master Shake.

But seriously Rick Barrett and I were talking about making a Brock knife on our way home from the Badger Knife Club show just a week and a half ago, but Sam beat us to it. We didn't expect anybody else to do it because we began to wonder if we were just different in our enthusiasm for the show.

But really Dr. Girlfriend in the Queen Etheria costume... But the new Queen Monarch costume may be even better. Barrett say he digs Dr. Quym but I personally think he prefers Girl Hitler .

Ha. Spooky's gotta see this.
