I have seen these before. They also used the same material for the pilots survival knife for a little while.

The blade markings indicate that the knife is a modern rendition shortly before their closure.

Yep. I'd just put it up for $5 Buy It Now at about 5:00 EST tomorrow, just about when I get home from work and log in ... LOL ;)

Just kidding Wildone.

You asked how much the knife is worth. Like Ivankerkley (I think) said, the knife is worth exactly what the highest bidder is willing to will pay for it. Start it at .99, post clear photos, describe it accurately, don't gouge on shipping, and in a marketplace as efficient as eBay, you should get a fair price for it.

I have and have used the daylights out of this knife's sister - but mine's maybe 25 years old -certainly not WW-2 vintage - don't think your's is either. Solid knife and the phenolic handle is way tougher than the original stacked leather - which are still way cool.

I sell alot on ebay and start with 99 cent auction. Hopefully, you get a bidding war going. You can buy Cattaraugus military knives vietnam era for around 35 to 50, so I think you may be in that range. I could be wrong and you have something special, but I think I am within ball park. I usually try to end my auctions around 6 pm eastern Sunday so as many people have a shot at bidding on it, since it usually has most activity about the last hour anyways. IMO if you try to start it too high of price, most people will not bid because their is no percieved value. Worst case you can put a reserve at your least willing to part with price. Otherwise, use it! If you do a completed item search, it it will indicate what the selling price will be. Good luck,
