Called Fred and asked for shipment via USPS priority mail. Fred wasn't exactly thrilled but he shipped it as requested and it came exactly when it should. Thanks, Fred. I love my new Model 42. I'm getting used the very light handles though. People in Hawaii can trust Fred.

Thanks for the post. Normally we limit mail shipments to $70 or less since we can't really insure them or track them and since we have a higher loss rate than we do with UPS. I understand the difficulties of dealing with mail order from Hawaii and Alaska, though, so I'm pretty lenient with the last two states to join the Union. I know we shipped a new Camillus Talonite EDC to Alaska today via mail so we do it from time to time. Glad it worked out.
