Knife P0rn: the awesome Pohl Force Hornet XL (compact fixed blade)

The certificate states that the knife passed the quality control standards of Pohl Force GmbH Germany. GmbH basically means "limited liability company." As such, I am lead to believe the knife at least traveled to Germany to get inspected.

It's actually mr. Dietmar Pohl himself who inspects each knife - you can see his signature on the certificate.
I forgot to mention that the knife is serialised and the number is on the certificate as well. You can see the engraved number in the my pics.

Yea. I didn't mention that. I was just pointing out the fact that it does not mean the knife was made in Germany necessarily. There are products that go to different countries to get QCed. It just means it was at the factory and inspected. Without having a "made in" mark there's no way of knowing unless you contact the knife manufacturer.

Meanwhile I found in this interesting review (in German) that it's made in Taiwan, just as the awesome Alpha One folder. I can guarantee that it's very well made (the folder as well) with a convincing quality/price ratio.
