Knife Photography

Well, my Samsung S20FE does have a setting that will manually change the depth of field, and it will show the image in real time on the screen while you are making adjustments. It'll also do the same for ISO, shutter speed, EV, and a couple other things.

The only reason I don't shoot with a smartphone is that I have problems with the very tiny buttons and my bear paws, plus it doesn't do all the things I want to do. I took college night school classes in DSLR photography for three years, but still have pretty modest gear (Canon T7i). I don't have the time to do a lot of messing around in post production (unless I'm doing astrophotography), so I shoot manual, adjust everything in camera, and use filters. The problem I'm having right now is that I need to get a polarizer that fits my 24 and 40mm lenses, because of the shiny things I shoot these days with those lenses. I'll probably get around to picking one up sometime in the next couple of weeks and that will make it a lot easier to deal with the blade glare.
