  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Photos Knife picks, knife openers, blade keys etc. (GEC, Case, and others)

These are neat. The nice covers are especially cool.

That said, a knife I cannot open with my nail is loathsome to me. I don’t have exceptionally strong or weak nails, and I like a solid pull, but have ran across a few that I cannot carry. I have tried to lesson the pull or gifted them to my tougher friends. Carrying a pick would never suit me.

Nice! I remember those were made for Case Collectors Club, right?

Also available on the Case website a couple years ago. Haven't looked recently. edit - got curious and looked, looks like they have them again.

A couple GEC picks and a letter opener. I have a 70s Case canoe with an 11 pull that I should probably use a pick on. But don’t use it often so the motion is awkward and I’d probably hurt myself more so by using it.

Lovely white bone you got there!

And yes, I agree, knife picks aren't easy and safe to use in many cases. 😅 I tend to appreciate them more aestheticially. Canoes are usually pinchable, if yours too then there's surely no need to use a pick.
