Knife pics to ease into the weekend

CM, first you corrupt me with evil thoughts of waved knives, now I have a hankering to go out and torch one of my clips... they look good.

Just make sure the clip is Ti. I took a 3M (maroon colored) pad to it to cut the bead blast and was left with a nice satin finish. Be sure to clean it thoroughly before torching it. I have used alcohol and windex with paper towels. The point of the cleaning is to remove any oils your skin put on the Ti. Do not handle it with bare skin after this. Use a coat hanger or bailing wire to hang it. When you are done, let it air cool.

Sorry for the delay, Marion, I finally found the thread I referred to - it has better pics: :o

Thank you... And Peter was kind enough to send me some images, so, I will post them here, for the edification of all....

Ohhh! I wanna play!

First is a knife by Mr. Blackton of Mt. Clemen's, Mich. 3/16"x 4 3/4" D-2 blade w/tapered tang and stag scales w/buffalo horn spacer.

Next is a 440-C blade by local maker Roger Bil. 3/16"x 6" blade also w/tapered tang and red Dymondwood (I know :barf:) scales. They're holding up nicely though so I can't complain.:p

Lastly, another Roger Bil knife in 440-C. 3/16"x 5 1/8" blade w/tapered tang and Elm Burl (methinks) scales.

Nice customs, misque  The custom in my first posts also has dymond wood scales, but it felt so good in my hand that I couldn't leave it alone...

Thanks for the pics, JN. Off the top of my head I haven't seen many threads with rescue knifes posted. You collect them for fun or for work? I really like the top AG Russell. Also you have reminded me to look out for a Kershaw Leek over the next few months! And another mod / waved Spyderco, I have an Endura 4 that is sitting idle... :D
