What's the most annoying knife problem you have ever had? Mine was a malfunctioning lock on a folder. post photos of the knife with the issue if you have any. Have a great day and don't forget to fill out the poll, too! -Woodsman
*DO NOT answer the poll both yes and no. it will confuse the mods/other members. poll will be closed due to people complaining.

Most annoying thing is - not having them arrive on time when I order one....
Right now, I'm seeing my Schrade Bowie as - not being available - on Amazon.
It was in stock last week when I placed the order.
Now I don't know if my order has been filled or not - and I'm afraid to cancel it if it has & order it from somewhere else.

Damn, that would be annoying! you might want to contact Amazon or the seller.

fairly ironic you ask for pics, but didn't post your own... just saying

as for my knife problems, can't really say I have any, they just work
biggest complaint is dealing with a wire edge sometimes when sharpening a sak or other softer blades

I never seem to have that issue with my s35vn or m4 blades

I don't know how to post pics on this site.

Can't help but notice several members giving this guy a little bit of an attitude. He's new, and if his age is correct, he's young. Guide him if you must, but relax.

Knife problems? I have a Ruike that gets lock stick when wet.

Well, it's not exactly a knife problem, but I tend to cut myself from time to time...
Me too !
Other wise all my knives function really well.

No wait... I have a civivi that the lock doesn't always engage when I use gravity opening.

I have problems with people who can't make up their own simple minds on what knife to buy so they have to suck up to the internet and make a "what should I buy?" post.

Does that count?
You referring to me? And no that doesn't count as a knife problem. knife problems as in issues with a knife or it's function.

Bad blade steel on the cheapies. I bought a Pakistani survival knife at a flea market 30 years ago, and no matter WHAT I did, I could not get it sharp. The one time I got close, the edge rolled immediately the first time I used it. I tried hard to like that knife. Having stuff in the handle was such a great idea! But a knife with a bad blade steel is just useless. (especially if you might ever rely on it for survival)

Pocket clips that create hot spots are a close #2, these days. (as I don't buy super cheap knives with bad steel any more)

For me weak detent is the worst knife problem. Hate it since a folder opened in my pocket while running down the stairs.

There are other things I really dislike like tanto, coating, serrations, CF sticker or plastic handle, custom screws, opening holes, but weak detent is the worst because I can't see it on pictures.
