For folders, bladeplay definitely. There’s a bit of bladeplay on my Father’s early gen Spyderco Chinook, but that knife’s probably nearly as old as I am. Thankfully, no bladeplay on the newer Spydie and Cold Steel models.

I had to LOL at a few responses here. Think the biggest problem was taking apart a Kershaw Natrix Cu and then trying to get it back together. Absolutely nuts (think it was the Natrix) and took hours if not half a day. Other than that the biggest was a blade replacement on Benchmade 3550. Due to policies of Benchmade they wouldn't ship me a replacement blade even if I paid them up front. So had to send the knife in but because of state laws had to ship it to a military buddy in another state and then he had to ship to them. Unfortunately by the time the knife arrived at Benchmade they were all out of blades! To top it all off, before they mailed the knife back to my buddy and then to me they took the liberty to over sharpen the blade (which I didn't even request) and basically ruined the grind lines destroying the perfect look of the dagger blade. Not only that they were so kind to install a super worn pocket clip to match the sharpening job. I'll never use Benchmade service again and thankfully don't own a Benchmade anymore (not to say they don't make decent knives).
