I recently called to inquire about a custom slipjoint that I had been eyeing. Mike was unavailable, but I spoke to one of his staff who was very happy to help me. He put hands/eyes on the knife for me and was more than happy to answer every question I had about the knife. There were no delays or callbacks, no pressures to make a purchase, no feeling rushed to get off the phone, and I got the sense that they valued not just my business, but me as human being and an enthusiastic, inquisitive knife nut. When I finally did decide to make a purchase, they were quick to send me an invoice and once paid, they had the knife in the mail to me in what seemed like an hour or two at most.
The knife arrived today and it is even better than expected. It's my third purchase from Knife Purveyor that I've made over the years and while that may not seem like a lot, they have never faltered or failed to meet/exceed my expectations. I will certainly return to them in the future.
