Knife question

I found out what I was looking for. The makers name was Dan E brdlik from wis. I couldn't find a lot on him. I think he passed away in the 90's
 
He was a part-time custom knife maker from Western Wisconsin. He made truly outstanding, big, strong survival knives. I bought one of his early blades at a gun show in St. Paul (it's the last knife they will pull from my cold dead fingers). Later, he did get a commercial knife maker to do a run of his knives. I have 1 and it looks good. He died in a motorcycle accident in the mid 1990's.
