I've been looking for something fairly specific but don't even know where to start, maybe some of you know what I'm talking about and can point me in the right direction? Assuming this would have to be custom as I've never seen a production knife like this.

Fairly simple concept: Bowie style knife with a sharpened clip and minimal guard... only with a very short blade, like between 3"-5"... anyone ever see anything like that?

Thanks.

There was a GEC fixed blade with about a 4.5 blade in the exchange, maybe traditional section.

To collect or throw away. That is the question. This calls for thought. I have both. I buy chinese for throw away. u.s italy and japan for collection.

5" blade, not expensive, can be easily modified to your requirements....

Like this???? Except minus an inch or two.....I like this one below.😉Or both...🤔

Thread 'Ostrom Ironworks 6” “Rainier” camp/ bushcraft knife.' https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/ostrom-ironworks-6”-“rainier”-camp-bushcraft-knife.1971203/

Thread '"LITTLE GEM" BOWIE STYLE 2' https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/little-gem-bowie-style-2.1971225/
Little Gem is very similar to what I'm looking for, would just need to have that clip sharpened... but that style of deep uswept clip is what I'm looking for.

There are also the Hinderer Emmet (4", 20CV or O1) and Ranch Bowie (5", 3V or O1).

Cheburkov makes a 5" Hunter(or Hunter-1) both hidden (or full tang) in M390 (second from the left)

There is Tony, as Boru13 Boru13 mentioned (this one is a little less than 5", in W2 if I remember right)

There is the OKT "little Ferox" in 80crv2 or CPM154 (5")

And Josiah makes a fat one (4.5" x 0.25" in A2), the F4:

For all of these you might have to sharpen the clip yourself.

And then, on the luxury side, there is Carl Colson's Windriver (4"), in different steels.

(I used to look for Bowie shaped fixed blades ....)
